High quality solar and wind assembly

I bought this panel on the 20th July based on reviews of this panel. (I didn't see it on the Rockpals product homepage)? PROS: Excellent build quality. It is made of thick nylon material. The handle system includes magnets to help keep the panel folded and a pair of hook and loop fasteners at the bottom of the panel fold to reinforce the panels when folded. There is also a thick adjustable leg at the back of each panel with double straps to keep the panel upright. When the unfolded panel is tilted with its legs, the panels are flush and offer more surface area for light to pass through. - Pleasant plate surface material. Made with updated EFTE technology that increases light transmission and improves heat and water resistance. When I hooked this panel up to my 1000W solar panel (Anderson connected and no USB ports under near-ideal conditions), the panel's power output exceeded 100W several times - a rarity among the 120W panels sold by Revain. With proper care, these panels should last for many years thanks to the materials used. - Noticeable weight. For a 4 panel installation, this panel is not too heavy - 4 grommets for hanging horizontally or vertically - Fast after-sales service. I requested a parallel cable (as stated in the product description) and received it within a week (Anderson Parallel Y-Cable). I couldn't find this type of parallel cable anywhere. Thank goodness Rockpals makes one and it's perfect for use with my 1000w solar generator. - Long thick extension cord (9-10 feet). Various sizes of Anderson to DC connectors for compatibility with a range of products. Speaking of the included cable. CONS: - Really, the only thing that bothers me is the power delivery from the Anderson cable to the 8mm DC cable. Using the Anderson-Anderson portion of the cable on my 1000w generator (as I mentioned earlier) I can see 100w+ output (under ideal conditions). However, if I switch the aux cable (Anderson to DC 8mm) and connect it to my 1000w generator, does the output drop to 65-70w? Why is this happening? This was concurrent with testing of the Anderson-Anderson cable (same time, same day, same conditions, no USB connectors). I tried an 8mm Anderson to DC cable from another panel but got the same result (so I know the additional cable provided by Rockpals wasn't defective). However, when I used the Anderson to DC 5.5 x 2.1mm cable with another generator (800W) that I have (at the same time, under the same conditions), I again observed panel outputs of up to 100W. I don't know why the performance drops when using an 8mm DC Anderson cable segment. Maybe Rockpals or another consumer has an explanation? Not critical, but definitely confusing. Price. At the time of review on July 31, the panel costs $300. I was able to buy mine when it was listed for $270 with a $60 coupon. I don't think the panel is worth $300. Wait for the price to drop and/or for an interactive coupon to appear before purchasing. . I am sure that if you take good care of this panel, you will not be disappointed.
