Review on Nexen Winguard WinSpike WH62 185/60 R15 88T Winter by Wiktor wikliski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

I took these tires at your own risk and rice! I wanted to first read the reviews, but there were few of them and they were divided 50 to 50. I decided to take it and check it out on my own experience. One factor is the price, a good price. 1. Acoustic comfort. This is the first thing I noticed. These tires are very quiet (compared to PIRELLI Winter Ice Zero). I do not have plastic fender liner, the arches are not noisy. So I was afraid that it would be as noisy as with PIRELLI or even noisier. At typical city speeds up to 75 km / h, they are extremely quiet. Already from 80 km / h there is a rumble. But in general, there is no discomfort. I will add here - the tires are soft enough for winter. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 2. Price per set. Initially chose from Korean brands. Considered Hankook, Kumho, Nexen. But more hunting was to try Nexen, was drawn to him. And even more pulled after comparing the prices of these brands. Rating: 4 out of 5 (why not 5 will be clear later) 3. Dry riding. Braking is good. The braking distance for winter studded tires is not long. ABS did not work for the entire time of use. I repeat - the noise of the spikes, the rumble is not heard almost completely. Rating: 4 out of 5 4. Riding in slush. Again, I compare with past tires. Not impressed. Not at all impressed. He tries to row, get out, wants to show his good side, but it doesn’t work out very well and not always. There were slippage and not only at the beginning of the movement. Rating: 3 out of 5 5. Riding on ice. ABS reminded of itself very often. The car didn't want to slow down, it wanted to do "tir-tyr-tyr." The braking distance is very long. If you have to drive in icy conditions, you should calculate the distance, speed and stopping distance. All this follows from the first paragraph, because. the spines are small and deeply set. Rating: 3 out of 5 If you need a set of winter tires, if you are limited in funds, but "China" is not attractive, if the climate without temperature changes and ice is a rare occurrence - take it.
