Cute bike for grandchildren. Upon reassembly we found an INDUSTRIAL BRACKET emerging face up from the top of the seat. There's no need for a strut to be there - and the seat isn't open at the bottom, so someone accidentally puts it there. Seems intentional to me. So if you are buying this bike for your child/grandchild, be sure to feel the seat for sharp objects on the seat. I was able to remove the bracket without damaging the seat upholstery by pushing it in and out with needle nose pliers. What's up with the people?
