Very handy for my satellite mesh router. It works great with the power cord on one side; I want the plug to be square so it's pointing away from the wall. As it turns out, the LED display is easier to see since I have it. It comes with screws to mount it to the wall, but I only hold it in place with the baseplate (which comes with the kit). It occupies a large area on the wall, so be sure to remove it when painting. (Of course, one should always remove all switch and socket bezels when painting, but unfortunately that doesn't happen, which is why there's a market for jumbo bezels.) What's great is that I can place the mesh satellite where it needs to be based on WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS. Reach out, not where there is a shelf, or leave it on the floor.
