Review on Threaded Nutsert Riveting Mandrels Rivnuts by Patrick Goodrich

I removed the stock mirrors on my truck! I have also used this set of threaded rivets to mount blocking plates where standard mirrors used to be! The problem I had was with the thorns themselves! Two of them bent on the first use! And the third jumped in half! I ended up using a different kit to complete the project! The mandrels were not strong enough to fully clamp the rivets. Because of this, the rivets rotated freely! I also had to remove them with a drill and start over! The threads on the mandrels were too polished!
