This is a well made carpet that fits the floor perfectly. Although I initially expected (somewhat unrealistic) that the molded flooring would be made of a 100% rubber compound. As soon as I received the product I realized it makes a lot of sense that it is backed with a hard ABS plastic on the bottom. The liner lies well on the ground. The driver's side upholstery requires the removal of the original carpet upholstery that came with the vehicle. The passenger side can be placed directly on the original floor mat. The overall thickness of the liner is thinner than the form-fitting Weather Tech liner, but it also costs much less than the competitor. So I'd say this isn't a bad deal for average drivers. You can change it after 5 years without feeling guilty.
