update 06/18/2021 Now that work from home is coming to an end, I have tested several different cameras in different lighting conditions at home and in the office. I've concluded that the Anker C300 offers excellent video quality at this price point, especially in low light conditions. The sound quality of the microphone is not outstanding, but the excellent video quality is well above five stars for this price range. I'll take a second one for my office. ---- Updated on 05/10/2021 after two weeks of use. I tested in different lighting conditions. I can guarantee excellent video quality regardless of lighting conditions. This product will definitely be one of the best webcams in this price range. If your main interest is to improve video quality, this option will suit your needs perfectly. If you mainly use the microphone for casual team meetings or something similar, this option will also work fine. However, if your goal is to get professional audio quality for business presentations, I would recommend using a dedicated USB microphone like the FiFine K669 (or even a cheaper model). As usual, Anker's customer support is excellent. I increased one star for the video and the quality of the support. ---- The optical system and video processing chip seem to be excellent. You should only be able to get a business quality picture with a regular table lamp, not a dedicated ring lamp. The focus is sharp and fast. You'll be amazed at the difference when you upgrade from a laptop's camera. But the sound quality is not convincing at all. That's a lot worse than the budget FiFine mic. For business presentations, you still need a dedicated USB microphone. Got it with a $30 coupon. I would send it back if I paid the regular price of 130€.
