I was excited to get a set of wireless surround speakers because of the hassle of wiring relocate. I tried two soundbars, but they just couldn't overcome the noise of the air conditioning in my apartment (loud). In any case. Good: Each speaker has its own amplifier; no central repeater/receiver needed, just a wireless hub. Setup was easy: unpack, place speakers, place hub, plug everything in, then start the syncing process with the app on your phone. The application allows you to estimate the distance from the main listening position. The speakers were loud enough to beat the air conditioning. The bad: The app doesn't allow for standalone bass/treble adjustment and doesn't support the popular surround sound compressions. Think of the cool things a full amp does when you place that little mic in different spots while it's being calibrated; it doesn't. The worst: At higher volumes, the sound distorts and you can hear the speakers vibrating. Aside from that, the drivers are housed in a crappy plastic case, which likely contributes to the vibration. That's too much of a cost saving in my opinion and I briefly considered taking the cases apart and packing them in special boxes, but it was too much work to restore quality when I could just send them back. It doesn't come with an independent remote control, but almost everything can be done through the app. The AppleTV remote seemed to work fine with the volume.
