The size of this item is one of its best features which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The size requires that many functions and modes can be accessed/controlled by clicking multiple screens on a small digital display. But the wealth of features and the quality of the recorded recordings make it worth it. (A Bluetooth option with a phone app interface would be a nice feature, if possible without the bulk.) It fits easily in a shirt or jacket pocket and has a pen-style clip to keep it in place. Excellent noise reduction capabilities for pocket shots. It plugs into a USB port to download records by removing the cap with a neat drawstring tie so it doesn't get lost. Thanks to the ample storage space on the device, it can also function as a flash drive or as a place to store music playlists, which can be listened to by plugging headphones into the mini-jack on one end.
