You say take a case, I had a case, my phone just slipped out of my hands. I now have an Otterbox with a glass cover (guaranteed) but I still love my phone ring which makes it so easy to hold when changing views that the phone doesn't slip out of your hand. Changing phones is not a problem, it is detachable.
