Over the last year I've reduced my use of plastic, but I stumbled across them and decided to give it a try. I have 2 cats and have been using recycled grocery bags for a number of years. They were great for cleaning the tray, convenient and plentiful. However, I drove so much each week that I only added the non-biodegradable landfill waste. These bags are great! The opening for the bag is a bit smaller than a grocery bag and you have to be careful not to get dirt in, but I have no problem. You also have to twist and tie them, but that's not a problem for me either. I clean morning and night and use 1 bag and while it's on the shelf it doesn't smell like grocery bags. If you're looking to reduce your carbon footprint a little further I highly recommend buying these, especially if you have cats.
