This stand does the job. The up/down adjustment is pretty tight as it should be. I wouldn't want to worry about the laptop sagging. I would be more comfortable if the hinges were adjustable, but I expect to appreciate the design over time. This stand is great for the home or office, but a little heavy for travel.
