It was only after ordering that I read reviews saying it was a poor design to achieve a good waterproof seal retainer. You were right. This thing looks more like it was designed for indoor use. There is very little space at the bottom to seal it on the RV roof to keep it from leaking. Also, you only get plastic parts. It does not include gaskets, sealing material or fittings. I ordered another brand that came with a tube of sealant and a flat bottom. It arrived faster, looks much better for my purposes and is even cheaper. This thing will be back as soon as possible!
