I bought this X-mat to avoid accidents with my cat on the couch. I opened it and put it on the floor. Immediately my cat started researching. A few minutes later he was already lying on the mat, as if it were very comfortable. I have absolutely no idea what to do now other than return this mat and try something else. For what it's worth, I think heavier animals will be more intimidating than my relatively light cat; The bumps are really, really painful! I rated it 2 stars because it was useless to me. A NOTICE. The carrier was great and the goods arrived as expected - 5 stars for that.
