That's a joke. My dog laughed at that. Walked right over him and right behind the couch to poop. So I tried putting him on his side to make a little goal, he just pushed it to the side. I then put him on the couch so he wouldn't be sitting on the couch in the sun, he laid right on top of him and scratched his back before looking me straight in the eyes and cradling it behind his back. Sofa. It was a waste of money and now my dog thinks I'm a punk. Don't buy this.

I bought this X-mat to avoid accidents with my cat on the couch. I opened it and put it on the floor. Immediately my cat started researching. A few minutes later he was already lying on the mat, as if it were very comfortable. I have absolutely no idea what to do now other than return this mat and try something else. For what it's worth, I think heavier animals will be more intimidating than my relatively light cat; The bumps are really, really painful! I rated it 2 stars because it was useless
