Can I tell you how dismayed I was when I saw how small it was? Ha, it's my own fault for not reading the measurements! However! I have a 16" Lenovo Ideapad (lighter laptop) that is larger than its compatibility rating on the description and it works fine. nothing loose, tight. I don't think I would trust him to climb higher, but I don't need him for that. It has rubber feet so it doesn't scratch my desk and more rubber grips so it doesn't scratch whatever device it's on. This is done by holding it in place. The metal flap on the bottom folds out to accommodate any size (it also has a rubber backing). I brought a wireless mouse so now I can work easily without hurting my back. The description says you can sit with her on the couch or anywhere. And I wouldn't recommend it for a laptop. Maybe if you're sitting with a tablet or phone. Otherwise it will be too uncomfortable and the bar holding it will slip off. Very light, easy to set up and durable.
