Review on Brain Building Set Construction Toys by Eric Smalley

EDIT: I had to increase my rating after Kids Korner saw my review and suggested replacing the asterisks purely based on my personal experience. I still think Star action figures are good for kids like my son who may still be learning to control their fine motor skills, but there are more than enough other action figures that you can use and make the most of. Great offer from the company and shows they care about the products they make. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought this for my 3 year old son who had developmental delays. He is currently undergoing occupational therapy and we use similar toys to train his fine motor skills. There is nothing wrong with the items, they are even very useful for my son. However, my son lags behind in controlling his fingers and hands, sometimes gripping parts very tightly. The problem is the stars, whose edges are sharp. They hurt my son, but in general I think the edges shouldn't be so sharp. The items are very useful though, great little tote bag.
