The router is fantastic. That. It does what your old router can't. It is originally OpenWRT. But therein lies the catch. The OpenWRT firmware supporting this device is STILL stuck on Chaos Calmer/15.xx with the latest updates as of July 21st. Even the firmware of my old Gli-net 150 mini is newer than this one. It can of course be updated, but the router positions itself as OpenWRT if it is not several versions behind the latest firmware version. This causes other problems like available repositories for opkg etc. B/c they are not supported now since most developers have moved on. And we just shouldn't. There's no really good reason why this firmware couldn't be accelerated. That aside, it's still a fantastic, capable little device.
