I lit them for 20 minutes (I bought 2) and 1 plug melted, the strand burned out and the other was very hot. They have not been UL listed and are unlikely to be sold in the US. I'm lucky enough to be paranoid about fires and check them out otherwise I would have lost my beloved grafted cherry tree and possibly my home in a fire. I used to make sure that all electrical equipment I bought was UL marked. I was dazzled by her beauty and thought that Revane only sells legit products.
