Review on Genuine Toyota Parts πŸ”§ - Vent Valve Sub-Assembly (12204-22041) by Shaun Helm

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High-quality goods, corresponds to the original equipment.

Exact replacement for Corolla 2000 and Corolla S 2004 with 1.8 liter engine To remove and install this PCV you will need a 22mm Allen key. A 7/8" deep socket will also work, they are almost the same size. You can buy a low end chrome head from H. Depot for $3 or spend $5.50 and a finished version with a lifetime warranty Obtained from Husky Impact sockets are good to have in your collection when you later start work on large assemblies such as luggage racks etc. The new PCV can prevent valve cover gasket leakage which is a problem with 1.8 liter engines with high mileage I would just replace them every 50k or so they are only $8.50 and increased crankcase pressure can cause oil to leak and leak depending on other issues you may be having.
