Review on πŸ‘ Pre de Provence 20% Natural Shea Butter Hand Cream – Repair, Soothe, Moisturize: Original Scent, 2.5 oz by Ryan Gordon

Lovely creamy horrible tube

The hand cream itself is lovely. What I don't like (no, it's better to hate) is the tube it comes in. It's awkward to use, hard to squeeze out as much as needed, and impossible to empty completely when you reach the bottom of the tube. (I can imagine someone with mild arthritis trying to use this and I sympathize with them.) Too much cream is wasted if you can't remove the last one. And if you squeeze and roll it up during use, the tube becomes an ugly eyesore wherever you put it. Add to that the fact that it's metal which I have to assume is primarily aluminum which probably seeps into the cream and then the skin, I just can't find any reason to like it. I emptied the tube (where possible!) into a small jar that previously held another cosmetic and immediately solved the problem with a carbide tube and much easier access to it. as needed. But that still won't rid him of the aluminum he's probably already used up. So no matter how good the cream is (and yes it is very good), I will not be using it again. Someone has to tell the manufacturer to use a plastic tube, or even better, a small jar.
