I was drawn to the xr's display, especially in light of the fact that my previous phone, the oneplus 5, also featured an amoled panel. My eyes hurt after using the amoled screen for so long, and to be perfectly honest, I don't even own an android. Those who claim that a different Chinese brand is superior and cheaper are mistaken; this phone will continue to function flawlessly for at least another five years, whereas the identical Chinese brand will start to lag and hang after just one. At least something occurred to my iPhone 6 in the 4.5 years before I upgraded to the xr, so I traded it in when I made my purchase. I promise you won't be disappointed if you make the purchase.
