Quiet and this part was correct for early production Ford Explorers

Bought this for my 2011 Explorer. The countershaft bearing was machined into the housing and the hypoid kit began to fail (80,000 miles on the block). Replaced with this part number, works fine, the part is quiet but I will say the preload seems high, however I have not checked the torque since fitted. I would appreciate it if Dorman added a drain plug to either the lid or the body. I also wish they would offer a newer version of the PTU without the countershaft bearing issue.
