Big fixtures mean big holes in your house

While this amp works fairly well, it does have a few downsides. It uses an omnidirectional antenna, and unfortunately my phone now often connects to the much slower band 12 in my area, where it used to only connect to 5, which is LTE. So it gets the job done, but unfortunately it has a harder time connecting to the slower band on the other tower. The other major downside is that it uses rather large connectors on either side of the cable. This requires you to drill a 1" hole in your house for the fitting to fit through, leaving only 1/4 of the cord in the hole. I recently tried another amp and while this one works better, the other had a much smaller armature on the internal connector side. I will try another kit with a directional antenna to see if I can force a connection to LTE band 5 only.
