Review on πŸ”‹ Waterproof LED Digital Display Voltmeter Battery Monitor for Car Motorcycle Truck Boat Marine - TurnRaise 12V by Julio Roberts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

NOT BAD if you know what you need.

1. The diameter of the gauge was slightly larger than the original 12V CIG connector in my car. It took a bit of dremel work, but I actually like that it's stronger, not weaker. However, I'm 90% sure you can push it in with enough force (1" diameter). The included nut is pretty tight and only needs hand tightening. 2. Green LEDs are brighter than orange or red (of course ). Knowing this, I cut out a .95" circle of tinted black vinyl (essentially a tinted sticker circle). It's completely black when the machine is off. It doesn't glare when it's on. Night yet The actual blue voltage readings are the least illuminated of all colors - which is a good thing 3. Before installing this I tested it with an ATX computer power supply Confirmed with a multimeter It was to a tenth of a volt I agree.

Pros
  • Voltage range 15V, 11.3-11.9V red LEDs indicate the battery needs to be replaced, 12.0-12.5V yellow LEDs indicate the normal state when the vehicle is off, 12.6- 15V green LEDs indicate normal condition when engine is running.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
