Look, we're in a pandemic. I don't go anywhere but the store and the occasional walk around the block. Do I need high performance shoes? right. Do I need shoes that don't look like I've been putting off buying new since 2019? Damned! When it comes to shoes, you get what you pay for. I'm pretty sure I'll get my $40 and not a penny more. I shudder at the thought of walking in it in the rain. But now they will do their job. The soles catch small rocks very easily, so keep an eye on the ground. The material is quite manmade so don't expect long life if you handle it harshly. They're pretty comfortable though, can't complain about that!
