The picture on my Pioneer touchscreen radio is very clear. I read other reviews they say bad picture quality. I think it was either the radio or the way it was installed. If you want the grid lines to cut the white wire, leave the white loop as is if you don't care. I installed in a 2000 Silverado and the installation was pretty easy once you found a spot under the console to drill or drill through the wire.
