Great alternative to halogen

Used as replacement bulbs for my in-home elevator.the halogen used to get really hot these work much better. No buzzing and give off great light.

works either way. doesn't get hot. bright.

Cons

installed these for brighter light, unfortunately they are not that bright and flicker a lot

Great conversion from the hot and wasteful halogens. Bright white light as well instead of amber like the old halogens.
