Pretty good for hair color

While everyone is experimenting with their hair during this quarantine, I decided to give this a try. I bleached my hair at the salon in mid-March before chaos struck because I have naturally brown/almost black hair and whatnot. As a result, I've done a home clearing along with toner a couple of times in the last month. That's why I finish my hair color with a level 7-9 blend on the color scale. I'm not a professional barber and didn't want to lighten more than my hair could handle so I was fine with that and some coppers because they started out that way anyway but are a little lighter now. At the same time, I chose a semi-permanent that does not contain harsh chemicals. And I can tell you that I'm happy with that. I didn't wash my hair or blow dry it properly, but my hair was pretty clean. I definitely had to use a little more than one case because I have thick, medium length hair. I also left it on for two hours, could have left it on a little longer, but areas that were originally lighter turned gray. I chose this particular color because the "light" purple hue in the gray color neutralized the copper I had in my hair and it did, which I'm very happy about. Parts of my hair on level 7 are now ash brown instead of coppery orange/brown. So I would recommend this if you are experimenting, don't want to damage your hair because it has left my hair quite soft, have time and patience to see how your hair is processed.

Pros
  • Like all so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
