The soft wrist strap (the length of the nylon loop that connects them) was almost too short for my hand to fit under. In the end I fixed (stitched) it so it wouldn't get lost. The eyepiece cap should come with something to attach it to the monocular. I added a strap and threaded it through the previous wrist strap and fitted into the eyecup that seemed designed for it. Without these, coverage is quickly lost. The monocular worked well. The temptation to attain higher power was resisted. It's a pleasingly small device, which meant that any slight movement, even with less force, made holding the target a challenge. The plastic label EMARTH (adhesive backing) (closed access to focus mechanism) came off, I put it back on.
