Review on 🎮 Glorious GMMK Modular Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Barebone Edition: Compact 60% Size With DIY Assembly, RGB LED Backlit & Hot Swap Switches by Kyle Tran

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good pre-lubricated blades, one came out easily

To say this is the best barebones for the price would be an understatement. Supplied with two keycaps, a switch puller and a cap remover. Along with a 4-6 foot cable I'm not sure. The braided cable is very beautiful, long and durable. Now let's talk about the keyboard itself. It has a surprisingly solid frame, good lifting clamps to tilt it and looks very nice. There are no large logos anywhere and the border is silver. Stabilizers are amazing, crazy. They are all pre-lubed which is excellent for the price and they are good stabilizers overall. Although the left stabilizer burst, which, in principle, resembles the sound of its drain. This does not affect his work. However, this changes its sound so that it sounds like a regular old stabilizer. It's ok if you have a good pairing switch. I've used Gateron Yellow with lube and they sound just perfect. They were very easy to insert, but one of them, if you place the switch the wrong way round, one or two of the pins will bend, which is not good. You can try bending them back, but it can be difficult depending on how much they're bent. I really think RGB could help a little. Don't get me wrong, the program is great. But not this. If you turn it on without switch, it is very bright, not with switches. I've used Gateron Yellows with Bold and the Gateron switches have a standard RGB hole punch, but they still don't show through with the Gateron Gaming HK Color Yellows with Bold. I highly recommend getting a test pack of GMMK switches so you can hear them on the board for yourself and choose which one you like. You won't find yellow Gaterons in the test pack, but you can find switches like Kailh Coppers. , Kailh Box Brown, Kailh White Box, Kailh Red Box, Gateron Blue, Gateron Green and some others. The package also includes O-rings. I sincerely believe that Drop Barebones keyboards are good, but not at this high price point (around $170-$200), so I really think it's a great option for people who want to build but don't want to solder and want to program. Thanks for your time.
