Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Discover Comfort and Style with Vionic Women's Adore Leisure Athletic Shoes by Julie Uhl

Difficult to put on and harder to take off

I have had over 30 pairs of Vionic shoes in the last 5 years (when it was Orthoheel). The sandals cured my plantar fasciitis (PF) and I have since bought a Vionic. I am still looking for a good replacement for my kea slippers which have been perfect in every way. These Sky Adore casual shoes are not like that. First, getting your foot in a small hole was a real challenge. I wanted to take them on a short test run and wear socks in case of chafing. Too tight to put on socks and put your foot in a boot. So I quickly ran half a mile without socks and wasn't impressed. There is a visible gap between the insole and the arch support (see photo). It's big enough to be felt with bare feet. By the way, the laces are purely decorative and their weakening does not matter. (I suppose they could have been used to pull them on, but the boot is already tight.) It was also difficult to get the boot off my feet. So it's not really a shoe that slides on/off. Once I wear them I'll probably just donate them to charity in hopes someone with long but small feet can wear these shoes.
