UW stands for Ultra Wideband and is a specific millimeter wave technology that Verizon uses for 5G. The previously released S20 was only compatible with other carriers' low-frequency 5G technology. Verizon and Samsung worked together to bring mmwave technology to the phone, and there were some sacrifices - you lost your SD card and some RAM. The phone itself was delivered well. It was protected with bubble wrap. The kit includes a quick charger and a SIM card ejector. It was very clean.
