If you've been looking for these mounts, you know that many brands (even more expensive ones) require a good amount of grinding to get your hood open to maximum force. Not this one. Fits right out of the box. Complaints, the supplied headlights are of fairly poor quality, I have upgraded. No washers for the included cowl bolts, ok I'm pretty picky here, but since you're replacing the bolts that hold the cowl in place you'd think they'd give you some lock washers to keep it from loosening over time. Don't worry, it's easy to get at your local hardware store for less than a dollar. Tip: Remove the canopy support dampers when loosening the screws. This will keep the center of the hood intact when you loosen the screws.
