Review on 💻 ASUS CHROMEBOX3-N3299U: Intel Core i3 Mini PC with 4K UHD Graphics and Power Over Type C Port, Star Gray by Darius Glatzel

This is my fifth Chromebox and my third Asus in years. Firstly I didn't rate the games as I'm not a gamer so I didn't check this issue. This Chromebox arrived today and my immediate disappointment hence only 4 stars was that the audio port was on the front of the box and not on the back as usual. Creates a cluttered look with unnecessary cables running through my desk or down the wall when set this way. Without the added M2 SSD and 8GB storage I would have returned it without removing the plastic covers. The 4K graphics card is also a good upgrade. Also unfortunate that Android apps have not been added to Chromebox devices. I've found over the years that Chromebox devices are great for both my desktop PC and TV work, but it takes me a long time to accept the change in tone that reminds me every time I turn on the device.
