Outstanding picture and sound. Too bad Google can't sync them.

I bought the i3 model with 8GB RAM for about $475. I really wanted i5s but they aren't available yet, at least not on Revain. I don't think it would have made much of a difference, and I'm certainly glad I didn't spend over $700 on an i7 model. It's not like there's something wrong with the smallest box and it fires fast like a rabbit, flows like a luxury liner, but I haven't found an app that really wows me yet. in particular, multimedia applications for video playback and management. It's…

Nice upgrade for computers and accessories

This is my fifth Chromebox and my third Asus in years. Firstly I didn't rate the games as I'm not a gamer so I didn't check this issue. This Chromebox arrived today and my immediate disappointment hence only 4 stars was that the audio port was on the front of the box and not on the back as usual. Creates a cluttered look with unnecessary cables running through my desk or down the wall when set this way. Without the added M2 SSD and 8GB storage I would have returned it without removing the…

While So Good on Desktops is

. I've had one for a few days now and am happy with this little thing. He sits unobtrusively on my desk. I use it for school. casual browsing and simple curiosity about Chrome OS. I love that Chrome OS isn't as deadlocked as Windows. I'm not exactly a convert because I'm a PC gamer. But it's enough for school. I have an external hard drive that I store my files on. Otherwise, everything is stored online in Google Drive. They even give 100GB free for 2 years. So I'll use it and we'll see. I'm…

Great device! - Computers and accessories

I've never had experience with Chrome OS. I needed to replace an aging iMac and wanted something compact for my kitchen/great room. Its main use was to surf the web and stream music, videos, etc. This device is truly amazing! He is powerful and fast. It loads so fast and is online instantly. Chrome OS is very easy to learn, especially if you use the Chrome browser and/or are familiar with the Android ecosystem. I really love this shop! I prefer it to my Windows PC. ASUS has done a great job…

It may take some time to get used to, BUT.

I have had a high end ASUS Chromebook for about 18 months and as a seller it served my needs much better than my windows laptop. That saves me a lot of time. My Windows desktop was showing signs of aging, so I decided to give Chromebox a try. I bought an ASUS N019U with an i3 processor and 8GB of memory. I've only had it for a few days but I haven't had any problems with the equipment. I have been using MS calculators for over 35 years and have installed many new computers. Setting up a…

I just want it to work.

I actually bought two of these, model N019U, so the issues I've noticed may not apply to other versions. The first just blocked with a white noise screen after two days. The second made it in about 5 minutes. I suspect the devices didn't like my 2 year old Samsung TV. I returned one and left the other connected to the older Samsung and four days later it was still unlocked. I set the screen resolution the same on both devices, so I suspect it has something to do with HDMI performance, but who…

The Simple Solution: Desktops

I switched to a Chromebox after loving my Chromebook. I wanted to shut down my huge Dell desktop, which seemed like a constant annoyance. I first bought the N020U but it came with a dead power supply. I would have liked to have just bought a replacement power supply, but the seller sent me an RMA and gave me a full refund. So I saved some money and bought the N019U instead. I'm a Gmail and online storage user with Dropbox, Revain Drive and Onedrive accounts. The only thing that has been denied…

ASUS great - still in great shape with ChromeBox

I was tempted to buy an expensive Google Pixel Chromebook but wanted to see if I could really replace my Microsoft Surface tablet/laptop. The 8GB ASUS Chromebox 3 is a great step into the world of SUPER Chrome and Android apps. The chrome on this box is great; fast and responsive. . . more than on my Surface or my faster Windows desktop. But Chrome/Android apps are fuzzy at best (best example, Spotify installs but doesn't work so you'll have to switch to the web version), and when they do, they
