Review on SportDOG Brand SportHunter Remote Trainer Dogs for Training & Behavior Aids by Joy Vogelzang

This morning I took my dog for a walk outside off a leash. She was wearing a Sportdog collar. Another dog came by and pounced on it. I had a collar on the buzzer and I beeped. She stopped abruptly, turned and walked back to me. I bought this collar hoping to train my dog off leash. She is a husky with a very strong prey drive. So far I have been very impressed with how effective it has been. At first I had to use the shock setting a few times, but she quickly learned to remember using only the beep setting. The only improvement I could see in this product would be if there was a setting that would both beep and shock to speed up the transition from shock to beep. However, I no longer have to use the shock setting as my dog now responds very well to just the beep. Amazing product! Very satisfied!
