Okay That's a $35 Gate. I didn't expect industrial doors to appear at such a rate. For me it's just above mid-thigh (I'm 5ft 3in). I have a clearly hungry (she's full, even if she says otherwise) German Shepherd who loves to eat cat treats out of the tray, so I needed a solution to keep her off so I didn't have to climb over the gate. or have to bypass other gates for my kitty to get into the room. It was easy to assemble and serves its purpose. My cat is quite large and can easily get in and out of the "hole". Well, my shepherdess could easily jump over that gate if she really felt like it. However, she is well-behaved and knows that the goal means "out". So if you are looking for an inexpensive solution with well behaved pets, I would suggest checking the dimensions to make sure it will fit your space and buying it if it does. If you have a rebellious, goal oriented dog that has a tendency to meddle in things or be destructive, this is not your goal. I wouldn't recommend this gate if my shepherd was still a pup (she chewed on the house - literally every widened corner of the wall). For some this is a 5 star purchase, for others it just doesn't cut it.
