Great strap! I bought a new Citizen watch (Citizen BU2013-08E Eco-Drive Gold-Tone men's watch with brown leather strap). I was on a budget to find a watch strap, but didn't want to be too "frugal". Citizen made over $10, but I had to budget around $20-$30 because I went over budget by about $50. Watch. This "filtered out" the remaining options I had, leaving about three straps to choose from. The brushed stainless steel Kai Tian bracelet had a double locking mechanism and I liked the look of the smaller link width. segments. I have always had wide link segments (not to be confused with the "breathing" of the strap, i.e. 21.94 mm (0.864 inch) and I have to say that the narrow link segments seemed to be more. I bought a Kai Tian in black and realized that was correct (for a change)!!I was able to adjust it to a comfortable size but I had to remove three links.If it were the wider link segments I've always had before I'd only have to have one or two Remove links for same size.This Kai Tian band has been anodized to perfection black (and was not made in "jewelry", shine.) This is quality work too!I have worked many years in the making and the anodizing process that Kai used Tien was one of the best I've seen (reminds me of Gun Blue but Black) It's not one of those "paints" that peels off after a few weeks I could go on but the fact is that these Watch perfectly matched the Citizen I bought. This is the first black stainless steel bracelet I have ever owned. They paired very well with the polished Citizen gold case and black dial. Thirty seconds after putting it on I realized that this color is definitely the best for this watch (at least as far as I know). If you're trying to go for a colorless or black strap, I recommend checking out the Citizen watches linked above. If your watch is similar in style and color scheme then go for the black version, I think many will find it a good choice. Either way, whether it's a black or clear Kai Tian watch strap, it's definitely value for money. ! It can be combined with any group that costs three times more and from an aesthetic point of view I doubt that the difference will be noticed. Definitely a great band, 5 stars! Rich
