Always on the ground, never standing.
I followed T's instructions. I filled the base with sand, not water as other reviewers suggested, but it NEVER stood up straight. NOT EVEN. It sagged and fell no matter how many times I pumped it up or how I pumped it up. The base was fine, it didn't move, but how can I use a punching bag that's on the ground?
