Yes these terminals are not of the highest quality but they will do for most applications. Regarding complaints about the need to solder the wire to the terminal. Yes, it is missing a contact to connect a jumper with a 0.1 sq female thread. m, which is usually used in more expensive clips. Just use a jumper with a 0.1kV plug instead. These terminals are designed for use with 0.1kV plug lead wires. The brass rivet is designed to rub and make contact with the cable connector pin. See photos.
