I think this cable will last longer than my other chargers. I have a bad habit of bending the cables right by my neck and exposing the wires. After repeatedly looking for chargers, I decided to buy this one hoping to find something that can withstand more wear and tear. I think it was a great choice. It's made from better materials and feels like it should cost at least twice as much. Don't waste your money buying plastic cords. Buy this one and you won't have to buy anything else for a long time! UPDATE: 07/20/19 The first cord of two cords lasted 4 months. Until the wires were exposed, the cable just stopped charging. I am currently using the 2nd cable. After a week of use, it charges very slowly. I think the second cable might be defective, not sure.
