This cable has never worked for me as a quick charge cable. Charges so slowly that battery life decreases whenever I use the phone while it's on the charger. To be honest rubbish that needs replacing.

When it comes to "fast charging", make sure your USB adapter is compatible with fast charging. If the USB adapter has a smaller output, it will charge, it just won't "fast charge". These cables replace the standard round cable chargers. I would wrap them loosely to hide them when not in use. Over time they became frizzy and worn and never lay flat. They're almost like a thick, strong spike. Much easier to fold and keep in order. The end is pliable and doesn't look like it will break or wear out anytime soon.
