At 60, it's more difficult to see what I'm doing. Many mirrors claim to be 10x, but really are not. This one is definitely 10x. It's a little small, but that's the compromise for travel. The light is great, even in poorly lit hotel rooms. Plus, I can use the regular mirror for looking at the back of my head when doing my hair. It folds up very compact and is really lightweight. Some reviews said it breaks easily. I kept the bubble wrap that it came in to keep inside the travel pouch as added protection. It's also a little tricky to open and close, until you get the hang of it. Overall, I am very happy with this mirror and would buy the same one again if needed.
