I already have one of these but since I have an ice and swear by the effectiveness of this reflector I bought one for my fiancée. The difference is that the ambient temperature can be similar, but it's definitely not as hot in the car as it is without it. Our state doesn't allow tinting of front quarter windows or windshields unless you have a medical exemption, so this is a way to reflect light during the day when we're at work. The umbrella is curved and easy to open and very easy to set up against the windshield held by the visors. This is definitely something I highly recommend in the summer, especially if you live in a hot climate 😃
