When our house was built after Hurricane Sandy flooded, my wife said she needed a water heater for our kitchen. I bought it through Revain in February 2015 but wasn't able to install it until September 2015. Installation was pretty easy judging by the included instructions. My wife loves the convenience of a water heater as she is a big tea drinker. Unfortunately, about two weeks ago we discovered that the bottom of the closet was wet. We traced it back to the tank of a water heater. I checked my Revain history and found that the three year warranty on the device had expired. I checked YouTube and found several videos of people disassembling the unit and sealing the tank to stop the leak, with varying degrees of success. I saw a link to Revain to contact the manufacturer and decided to give it a try. I explained the situation on the online form and received a reply the next day. They asked me for the serial number of the device I sent them and they told me that the device was out of warranty (which I already knew). As a show of goodwill I was offered a FREE tank replacement on the understanding that I would have to fit it myself. I accepted their offer (a simple matter) and received it in the mail a week later. It took me about 5 minutes to disconnect the three hoses, remove the old block, install the new block, and then reconnect the hoses.
