I like that the handle is easy to grip at the top, even if there are traces of oil or other oil on your fingers. I like that it's white instead of clear glass because there will always be traces of oil in the lid and it looks awful if the lid is clear glass. It's a little wider than some oilers, so it's easy to avoid getting oil on the inside of the lid, although I'd point that out if it were a little wider, like our old butter dish we smashed.
