Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

For the first time, I purchased an SSD M2. Prior to that, there were only SATA 860 EVO drives, which are excellent SSDs that are dependable and have never failed. I believe the 970 won't let you down because I use it only for games, and those games load incredibly quickly. Some, like Squad, have the entire load; there is a blackout for 1-2 seconds, and the game immediately loads. For those who are considering purchasing and might be concerned about the weather: - If your case has good airflow, the SSD shouldn't get too hot. I have numerous fans in my case, which is well ventilated, and, in theory, when I checked the performance, the temperature increased to a maximum of 67 ° C, not higher; if you play games, it will be between 55 and 57 ° C, and when you are not using it, it will be between 40 and 42 ° C. The idle temperature was also around 40 ° C after I installed the "SSD Thermalright TR-M.2 2280 gray" radiator, but when I checked performance it dropped to 56 ° C (and this is taking into account that I ran the test with a hot SSD - 50 ° C); without letting it cool down, I played the game and the temperature was around 52 ° C; I then let it cool down to 40 ° C and started the test, and it was 46 ° C. Let me - Those who claim that the SSD performs less than expected during a performance test should be aware of their motherboard's M2 slot placement. Because the top slot I had was SATA and PCIe 3.0 x2, when I moved it back to the one under the video card (but it fit with the heatsink), I have PCIe 3.0 x4, and the speed is the same once more. Perhaps your slot simply does not support high speed, as I did when I installed the heatsink and put the SSD on the top slot (one of the photos, I was afraid it would not fit under the video card). I believe everything will be alright, but we'll have to wait and see in a few years.

Pros
  • Compact (although still more accurately describes the SSD M2 than this type); The SSD's actual performance matches its stated specifications; - Most importantly, very quick and has a vast resource; - It does not become too hot, as other users claim here, however it may simply be that my case is properly ventilated, BUT I still fitted the radiator just in case;
Cons
  • The absence
