The answer is definitely NO! I bought this item out of curiosity. Everything is as they say. All in all, this is a well-made product. Metal picks, brass containers. Everything smelled of motor oil from the packaging, which was to be expected. The thread on the holder is clean and smooth. Toothpicks are nice for crafts. The hose is really long. Much longer than expected. 3.5 inches long while toothpicks are a standard length of about 2.5 inches. But back to the practicality of this thing. Do you really want to stick those super thin and sharp little things between your teeth? O GOD NO! In addition to the lubricants that are present. These things are super ribbed metal spikes. You're just playing with fire by putting these things in your mouth! Just the thought of it makes me cringe! DO NOT DO THAT! It was always my intention to put the wooden picks in the holder, which I did. As I get older, I really appreciate the fact that I always have wooden toothpicks. At least the holder is very much appreciated. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this. Be yourself and what not. But think seriously about what you are doing before trying these things! I fear for your oral safety. Whatever you do with these items, be sure to clean them thoroughly with alcohol before use.
