I am not a plumber. My basement sewage sump pump went out after 12 years. I have teenagers and wanted a heavy duty pump to handle a heavy workload. So I got this, which is 1HP and stainless steel and cast iron parts. However there was no instructions on install. The manufacturer's website is still "under construction". The one paper in the box was horribly translated from Chinese (you could tell by reading it). There is nothing on YouTube or the internet about this pump. The website from premium pumps, where this was sold and shipped from also has no support.GREAT PUMP!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!That is why I gave it 3 stars. Should be 2.5, but I rounded up.
- So far it works great and saved a ton of $. They got it to me overnight as well
- The pump came with a broken flange or part. It is the transition from the pump to the pipes 1 1/4
